A Solo Exhibition by William Osorio
April – May, 2025

William Osorio, whose artistic practice is informed by human experience, continues his visual trajectory with Postcards, a series of artworks sparked by the intimate happenings of early parenthood. In the cannon of art history, these themes have most often been explored from a mother’s gaze. With this exhibition of tactile, layered collages, Osorio’s lens offers a renewed perspective of creation, nurture, and protection, with moments of joy, tenderness, and strength in the quiet unfolding of a new family.

William Osorio invites us to witness this deeply personal chapter alongside him, distilling moments of newness and first-time experiences. With each individual artwork acting as a vessel faceted with a lived moment, every gem within he series comes to life with the viewer’s presence. Postcards, a love letter from father to daughter, a time capsule from guardian o new life of cherished and vulnerable messages sent through time, inspires the viewer to unlock their own vulnerabilities, to become fearless.
